First, prepare fresh whipped cream.
IN ADVANCE, CHILL A MEDIUM SIZE MIXING BOWL IN YOUR FREEZER
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream (refrigerated)
1/3 cup sugar
In a medium size CHILLED mixing bowl, with a blender, begin whipping the heavy cream.
Gradually add your sugar and whip until stiff peaks form. Hint: over whipping will cause the mixture to break down, don't over-whip!)
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator until fruit is prepared and placed in glasses.
5 sliced bananas
2 pack sliced strawberries
2 packs blueberries
2 packs raspberries
1/3 cup Grand Marnier(or to taste)
1 cup orange juice
1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
1 squeezed lemon
1/3 cup granulated organic cane sugar
Bundle mint sprigs
Whipped cream (1 dollop per glass)
In a large serving bowl, add your sliced fruit.
Next add your Grand Marnier, orange juice, lemon juice, vanilla and sugar to the mix. Stir gently, combining ingredients.
Next, drain the majority of the juice from the bowl (so the fruit doesn't become over-soaked), or simply scoop it into your parfait glasses, keeping the juice at a minimum.
Finally, with a spoon, place a dollop of whipped cream on top of each glass of fruit. Add a mint sprig on top of the fresh cream.
Voila! Beautiful, colorful and buzzing with flavor!
